About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our dynamic team supporting a portfolio of virtual schools nationwide. This fully remote position plays a strategic role in fostering a positive and productive work environment by acting as a central point of contact for school leaders and staff. The HRBP will provide expert guidance on workforce planning, employee relations, leadership development, and HR strategy implementation. This role requires a proactive approach to understanding the unique needs of virtual education environments and aligning HR initiatives with organizational goals to promote a thriving, engaged, and high-performing workforce.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in Human Resources or related fields
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline
- Strong proficiency in HR software and technical tools
- High emotional intelligence and excellent interpersonal skills
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed organizational environment
- Knowledge of employment law and legal compliance related to HR practices
- Experience with workforce planning, employee relations, and leadership coaching preferred
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with school leaders to understand and support their HR needs effectively
- Collaborate with HR teams to develop and execute initiatives aligned with organizational objectives
- Analyze HR data to identify trends, develop insights, and recommend strategic improvements
- Provide guidance and coaching to school leaders on leadership development and performance management
- Advise managers and staff on conflict resolution, communication strategies, and performance issues
- Coordinate with legal counsel and school boards on employment-related matters to ensure compliance and mitigate risks
- Monitor employee satisfaction and turnover metrics, implementing retention and engagement strategies
- Manage performance appraisal programs and disciplinary procedures in accordance with company policies
- Support workforce planning activities, including staffing, promotions, and job description updates
- Participate in recruitment efforts, including interviewing and evaluating candidates
- Assist in designing and deploying employee development programs and leadership training initiatives
- Ensure effective HR communication across teams to promote transparency and engagement
