About The Role We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Driver Recruiter to join our team in Perryville, MO. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for prospective CDL drivers, playing a vital role in attracting, screening, and onboarding top-tier drivers who meet our safety standards and align with our company culture. This in-office position requires excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for connecting with people. The Driver Recruiter will work closely with various departments to ensure a seamless hiring process and contribute to the ongoing growth of our driver team.
Qualifications The successful candidate will possess relevant experience and skills, including:
- Previous experience in trucking, recruiting, or logistics is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with prospective drivers and internal teams.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail to manage multiple recruitment processes efficiently.
- Proficiency in using recruiting platforms, email communication, and CRM/ATS tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations is advantageous but not required.
Responsibilities The Driver Recruiter will be responsible for a variety of key functions, including:
- Sourcing and screening qualified CDL A driver candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, referrals, and industry networks.
- Managing the full recruitment cycle, including posting job openings, conducting interviews, running background checks, and facilitating pre-employment requirements.
- Maintaining accurate and organized records within applicant tracking systems to ensure compliance and streamline the hiring process.
- Building and nurturing strong relationships with prospective drivers from initial contact through onboarding and ongoing engagement.
- Coordinating with Safety and Operations departments to ensure a smooth onboarding process and integration into the team.
- Monitoring industry trends and adjusting recruiting strategies to remain competitive and attract the best talent.
