This role contributes to Starbucks success by supporting and developing retail experience marketing. You will support the Retail Experience team with strategic menu recommendations for all seasonal windows and review seasonal menu creative proofs. You will build and maintain strong relationships across marketing, product and creative studio to ensure menu content and execution is delivered with excellence.
As an associate marketing manager, you will…
- Support retail experience team with strategic menu recommendations for all seasonal windows for COS and LS, based on insights and performance data.
- Document and populate menu content within internal menu tool, requiring strong attention to detail to identify errors and opportunities, with the ability to act quickly when issues arise.
- Maintain a historical repository and ‘knowledge bank’ of past tests and seasonal campaign results that can be socialized with leaders.
- Review seasonal menu creative proofs for accuracy, identifying errors and providing clear, actionable feedback for revisions
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships across marketing, product and creative studio, to ensure menu content and execution is delivered with excellence.
- Support Licensee Store menus including maintaining assortment grids for nuanced business assortments and understanding implications for unique store sets.
We’d Love To Hear From People Who
- Bachelors degree or 4 or more years of US military experience
- 1+ years of experience in a role supporting marketing, brand management or product management
- Keen critical thinking and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Consistently uses communications skills to influence outcomes
- Have experience merging trends and other primary and secondary forms of research with fact-based business insights to arrive at sound strategic recommendations
- Ability to confidently develop and deliver recommendations to leadership and cross functional teams
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Can function well with ambiguity
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to resolve issues or debates independently in most situations

- If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
