About The Role We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Associate to join our team at Sysco. The HR Associate will work closely with the HR Manager and HR Business Partners to implement local HR initiatives and support regional and corporate programs. This role is pivotal in creating an engaging, inclusive, and productive work environment that attracts, develops, retains, and engages talent across the organization. The successful candidate will handle core HR processes, provide guidance to employees and managers, and support various HR functions to ensure smooth and compliant operations. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess 2-5 years of experience in Human Resources management or a related field, demonstrating a strong understanding of HR functions and best practices. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline is required for external candidates, while internal candidates may have preferred qualifications. Certifications such as Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) Professional Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) are preferred, indicating a recognized level of professional expertise. Experience with HR systems like Workday is advantageous, supporting efficient HR operations and data management.
