Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Director of Business Operations. The role involves overseeing day-to-day business operations, driving process improvement initiatives, and ensuring efficient workflows within the organization. The Director will collaborate with departments to optimize operational performance, develop and execute strategic business plans, and evaluate key performance metrics to ensure the company achieves its objectives. Additionally, the role requires overseeing program management efforts while ensuring compliance with financial and operational standards.

Compensation - Details based on your qualifications and experience, but salary + bonus >$100k

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Business Operations and Business Process Improvement to ensure efficiency and optimize workflows.
  • Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate complex data and derive actionable insights.
  • Experienced in Finance to manage budgets, assess financial performance, and support decision-making processes.
  • Knowledge of Program Management to plan, organize, and execute business initiatives effectively.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Experience in the firearms or compliance-related industries is a plus but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with transaction-based or usage-based billing models
  • Experience operating in regulated or compliance-adjacent environments
  • Background scaling operations alongside rapid product and customer growth
  • Experience with AWS, HubSpot, Stripe, Intercom
  • Process engineering (Visio flowcharts)
