Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) : Market maker. Ecosystem Architect.

You will lead our client's global business development strategy across aviation, mobility, fintech, and real estate. Your role is to unlock high-value relationships, negotiate multi-year strategic deals, and turn partnerships into scalable revenue. This position is both relational and operational requiring the boldness to pioneer new markets and the rigor to build enduring value.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and secure strategic partnerships with aviation operators, brokers, eVTOL platforms, fintech providers, airports, and white-label channels.
  • Build and manage a high-performing business development team focused on value creation and partner success.
  • Lead all outbound business development efforts, including operator onboarding, API integrations, and long-term alliance building.
  • Source, structure, and close high-value commercial deals that drive platform growth, monetization, and operator retention.
  • Own the full relationship lifecycle—from first conversation to signed contract to recurring revenue.
  • Develop a CRM-driven partnership pipeline and forecasting model for all key BD verticals.
  • Launch the Onboarding Program, enabling direct revenue from platform integrations and concierge tools.
  • Close key partnerships with escrow platforms, blockchain tech firms, and international FBO networks.
  • Lead early-stage agreements with eVTOL and urban air mobility partners for future routing and data integration.
  • Drive strategic white-label deals to embed the company's Aviation Intelligence Platform (AIP) into B2B travel ecosystems.
  • Identify, evaluate, and secure international expansion partners aligned with Series A roadmap.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years in business development, commercial leadership, or strategic partnerships at a high-growth company.
  • Track record of negotiating multi-year, multi-million-dollar contracts with operators, platforms, or global brands.
  • Deep domain experience in aviation, mobility, fintech, travel tech, or infrastructure marketplaces.
  • Operational fluency in partner lifecycle management, CRM systems, pricing, and commercial legal frameworks.
  • Strong executive presence and a reputation for trust-based dealmaking.
