The Content and Community Coordinator will play a key role in developing, growing and engaging Beautyblender’s online community via different social channels. This role centers on social media, beauty culture, creator engagement, retailer collaboration, and trend-driven storytelling. You’ll help boost brand visibility, strengthen creator relationships, and support the marketing team with community insights and content support.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develop, plan, and publish engaging social videos and short-form content that highlight Beautyblender products, artistry tips, behind-the-scenes moments, and trend-aligned storytelling to develop a consistent presence on TikTok.
- Actively grow Beautyblender’s community by engaging with followers, responding to comments/DMs, and fostering meaningful conversations both on brand’s owned platforms as well as being part of the “beauty chatter” across all social platforms.
- Identify trending sounds, effects, formats, and creator moments to integrate into Beautyblender’s content strategy.
- Work with Consumer Marketing to identify and build seeding lists with new brand-appropriate Pro Makeup Artists, beauty influencers and micro-creators on social media.
- Assist Consumer Marketing in product seeding ideation and evergreen influencer engagement to strengthen Beautyblender’s creator ecosystem.
- Monitor and highlight relevant content for brand to repost and / or engage in paid content with organic creators
- Participate in industry chatter across social platforms including: TikTok, Reddit, X and Instagram
- Work with retail partners (e.g., Sephora, Ulta, pro retailers) to develop sales supporting content to engage beauty advisors and store teams, bringing them into Beautyblender’s social communities.
- Help activate retailer-focused social content, challenges, and educational initiatives.
- Stay ahead of the latest social and beauty trends, platform updates, influencer movements, and makeup community conversations.
- Provide real-time recommendations that inform content planning and innovation.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure a cohesive voice and brand aesthetic across all platforms.
- Contribute community metrics and trend summaries for weekly/monthly marketing decks and presentations.
- Other duties as assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- This job works in a remote setting, with occasional travel required.
- The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, etc.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 1 to 3 years of experience in content creation, social media marketing, influencer coordination, or community management.
- Deep knowledge of TikTok culture, the beauty creator landscape, and short-form video trends. Social selling experience a plus.
- Strong communication skills with a passion for relationship building.
- Experience creating or editing short-form video content (TikTok/Reels/Shorts).
- Highly organized, creative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Beauty industry or makeup artistry interest is a strong plus.
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

SALARY: Between $55,000-$60,000*
*Actual compensation will be based on the canidate's geographic location and experience.
