About The Role The Human Resources Coordinator at HEALTHSOURCE OF OHIO plays a vital role in supporting the HR department by delivering exceptional administrative, technical, and leadership assistance. This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions, including onboarding, employee engagement, record keeping, and compliance. The HR Coordinator acts as a primary point of contact for employees and management, providing outstanding customer service while maintaining adherence to company policies and legal standards. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess an Associate's degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred) and a minimum of two years of HR generalist or administrative experience, preferably within a healthcare or similarly dynamic setting. Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems such as ADP is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to foster positive relationships with employees and leadership. The candidate must demonstrate high levels of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information, along with a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Manage and facilitate new employee orientation sessions and conduct exit interviews to gather valuable feedback for continuous improvement.
- Oversee the pre-onboarding process in collaboration with the Recruitment Team to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
- Provide monthly exit interview reports and insights to the Leadership Team to inform HR strategies.
- Maintain and update accurate job descriptions and staff evaluations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Prioritize daily workflow to meet deadlines and support HR initiatives effectively.
- Maintain confidential HR files and records in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Assist in assembling and managing HR data for special projects, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Process new hires and terminations within the HRIS database (ADP), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Lead learning and development programs, including orientation and organization-wide training initiatives, in collaboration with HR and relevant departments.
- Prepare new hire badges and replacements, ensuring security and branding standards are met.
- Collaborate with the Payroll Team to oversee HRIS data accuracy and reporting.
- Ensure all employment verification documents such as I-9 forms meet federal and state compliance standards.
- Plan and coordinate company events that promote a positive organizational culture and employee engagement.
- Lead internal and external student initiatives in partnership with colleges and vocational schools to attract emerging talent.
- Create and deliver engaging presentations to support HR programs and organizational initiatives.
- Support other HR activities and duties as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a team-oriented attitude.
