TL;DR — We're building humanity's defense layer for the AI age
and looking for a
high-agency Product Designer with an exceptional eye for detail to turn direction and constraints into concrete interfaces and systems that work under pressure.
If you're an early-career designer with exceptional judgment and unusually high execution velocity—this is your place to leave a mark.
Why Sweep?
As intelligent machines proliferate into every part of the physical world, humans still lack a defense layer to ensure the systems and devices we rely on remain aligned with us.
Sweep is building that layer today. Our technology is already deployed alongside some of the world's highest-stakes teams—from decision-makers and elite market-movers to frontline journalists, chart-topping artists, record-breaking athletes, and history-bending scientists. What we learn there becomes the foundation for a civilization-defining capability.
We're a small, talent-dense team with a bias for high ownership, high velocity, and low ego. We care deeply, move fast, and are here to build something that outlives us.
Together, we'll redefine cyber-physical security for the AI age.
What makes this role special?
- Be one of the first designers shaping Sweep's visual language and design systems
- Design interfaces for some of the world's most elite teams in places you might never discuss, but will never forget
- Collaborate directly with engineers and users to see what works, what fails, and why
- Work hand-in-hand with the CEO and Head of Engineering—rapid feedback, real consequences
- Gain pre-Series A ownership as one of the first 10 employees defining standards and culture
What we're looking for
- Portfolio demonstrating excellent command of Figma, including systems thinking and interactive, spotless, iOS prototypes
- Track record showing you can ship, observe real-world use, and improve rapidly
- Comfort working on complex, information-dense interfaces
- Willingness to learn SwiftUI and prototype in code when needed
- Startup urgency: independent, accountable, relentless execution
- U.S. Person status required (may involve export-controlled data)
Bonus if you've
- Mastered Framer, Mapbox, or spatial UI / Liquid Glass in real projects
- Designed motion, transitions, or micro-interactions for iOS
- Worked with Apple Human Interface Guidelines beyond surface level
- Worked in a founding or early-stage startup environment
- Comfortable operating with discretion in sensitive or high-profile environments
What you'll do
- Design mission-critical interfaces for mobile and web systems used in real-world environments
- Build and maintain scalable design systems in Figma (components, auto-layout, interaction patterns)
- Prototype flows and interactions using Framer and, when useful, SwiftUI
- Design spatial and map-based interfaces using Mapbox or similar tooling
- Work closely with iOS and full-stack engineers to translate designs into production
- Iterate rapidly based on field feedback—observe usage, fix what doesn't work, and ship again
- Engage directly with elite users, often on the road (:25% global travel)
How we select
- Short application
- 20-minute intro call
- Design / interaction deep-dive
- Show us work you've shipped and what you learned from it
- References and offer
