Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Director of Operations to lead and scale our operational functions across the organization. This role will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, optimizing internal processes, managing cross-functional execution, and ensuring operational excellence in a highly regulated, fast-paced crypto-financial environment.

The Senior Director of Operations will work closely with executive leadership and serve as a key driver of operational strategy, execution, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all operational functions, including internal processes, workflows, controls, and performance management
• Design and implement scalable operational frameworks to support business growth and regulatory requirements
• Partner with Finance, Compliance, Legal, Technology, Risk, and Trading teams to ensure seamless cross-functional execution
• Establish and monitor operational KPIs, SLAs, and performance metrics
• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies aligned with regulatory and compliance standards
• Manage vendor relationships, third-party service providers, and operational outsourcing partners
• Support operational due diligence, audits, and regulatory examinations
• Drive process automation, efficiency improvements, and system enhancements
• Build, lead, and mentor high-performing operations teams across multiple locations
• Support executive leadership with operational insights, reporting, and strategic recommendations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• 8–12+ years of experience in operations leadership roles within financial services, fintech, crypto, or digital asset firms
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets, trading operations, custody, payments, or blockchain-based products
• Proven experience scaling operations in a high-growth or startup-to-scale environment
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (AML, KYC, compliance, internal controls)
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate strategy into execution
• Experience working with global or cross-border teams is a plus
