About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Lead HR Generalist to join our team, focusing on the Americas region. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for delivering precise, compliant, and scalable HR operations across multiple countries within the Americas. You will partner closely with regional and global HR teams to implement and drive HR initiatives that support our business objectives. Your expertise will be essential in managing core HR processes such as talent development, onboarding, performance assessments, and employee engagement, while also leading diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence HR strategies in a dynamic, remote-first environment, ensuring that our people practices align with local laws and global standards.
Qualifications
- Exceptional academic record from high school through university.
- Proven HR experience leading initiatives across regions within a technology business.
- Regional HR experience within Latin America, specifically Brazil and/or Mexico, with comprehensive knowledge of local labor laws.
- Business partnering experience with senior stakeholders.
- Hands-on involvement in daily HR routines with the ability to balance leadership and execution.
- Experience mentoring and developing HR teams or colleagues.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to define deliverables and maintain progress.
- Experience working in a remote-first organization.
- Data-driven decision-making skills.
- Fluent in business English, both written and spoken.
- Self-motivated, organized, accurate, confident, authentic, results-oriented, open-minded, and enthusiastic.
- Willingness to travel up to four times a year for internal events.
Responsibilities
- Deliver precise and compliant HR operations in a timely manner across the Americas region.
- Collaborate closely with the Americas HR Manager and the Global Head of HR to align regional strategies with global initiatives.
- Own and manage HR processes such as talent development, succession planning, performance evaluations, onboarding, culture, and engagement initiatives.
- Partner with managers on performance management, organizational design, employee engagement, rewards, and workforce planning.
- Work with the HRIS team to refine operational processes for effective HR administration.
- Coach and advise managers on employee relations issues across multiple countries, ensuring compliance and best practices.
- Support the delivery of training and development programs that enhance employee skills and growth.
- Establish and maintain trusted partnerships with regional business leaders to align HR strategies with business needs.
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to foster an inclusive workplace culture.
- Design new policies and lead the implementation of business-critical HR projects on a global scale.
