This role offers the opportunity to shape user-centered product experiences by conducting in-depth research and generating actionable insights. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, inform product decisions, and influence strategy in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The position requires ownership of complex research projects, blending qualitative and quantitative methods to uncover meaningful patterns and opportunities. You will help create and maintain user personas, journey maps, and usability studies while mentoring junior researchers. Accountabilities
- Conduct comprehensive user research using mixed methods, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, ethnography, and behavioral analysis
- Develop and maintain user personas and journey maps to guide product strategy
- Integrate iterative testing and feedback loops into the product development lifecycle
- Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights for improving product usability and desirability
- Prepare clear research reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to ensure alignment between user needs and business goals
- Mentor and coach junior researchers to develop their skills and support team growth
- Stay informed on industry trends and emerging UX research methodologies to enhance research quality and innovation
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in mixed methods user research across qualitative and quantitative approaches
- Proficiency in conducting usability testing, interviews, surveys, and other research methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate research findings into actionable recommendations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effectively presenting insights to diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience working autonomously on complex projects and prioritizing research initiatives to drive business and user value
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment and adapt to shifting priorities
- Empathetic and collaborative mindset with a strong focus on mentoring and team development
- Experience leveraging AI and other tools to streamline research, automate analysis, or prototype solutions is a plus
