Description

About the Job

Last year, 1 in 10 teens attempted suicide.

It almost never starts there. Instead, it begins with a treatable mental health issue. We could have helped these kids before things got worse, before they resorted to the traumatic and painful step of attempting to take their own life.

Structural features in our country’s healthcare system render it virtually impossible for kids to get the help they need. Between acute provider shortages and low insurance participation, kids have no access to timely, effective care. And without treatment, symptoms that were once mild can rapidly devolve.

Enter Marble

Our mission is to massively increase access to timely, preventative care before things get worse. We accept almost all insurances, including Medicaid plans, and provide kids with high-quality, immediate mental health support through licensed therapists. No waitlists. No insurance holdups.

About the Role

Marble partners directly with schools to ensure students get timely, effective mental health care. As we expand into new states and deepen our footprint with existing partners, our success depends on strong, trusted relationships with school leaders and counselors.

We’re hiring a Founding Success Lead to own a portfolio of school partnerships and ensure they are successful, supported, and growing with Marble. Beyond managing relationships, this role will design and run experiments to understand what drives adoption, engagement, and retention across different school contexts. You’ll use data, structured thinking, and qualitative insight to test approaches, evaluate outcomes, and turn learnings into repeatable playbooks.

This is a high-impact, highly cross-functional role at the intersection of Customer Success, Business Operations, and Strategy. You’ll work closely with leadership to translate ambiguous problems into clear hypotheses, measurable experiments, and practical execution. If you enjoy combining relationship-building with analytical rigor — and want to build systems that get better over time — this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Own a portfolio of school partnerships end-to-end: Act as the primary point of contact for counselors and school leaders, serving as a trusted thought partner and ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery. You’ll deeply understand each school’s context, coordinate internally to resolve issues, and be accountable for outcomes across your portfolio.
  • Drive engagement through the School Success motion: Design and run experiments to understand what drives adoption, engagement, and expansion across schools - directly impacting revenue growth. You’ll translate ambiguous questions into clear hypotheses and metrics, analyze quantitative and qualitative signals, and turn learnings into repeatable playbooks.
  • Create the foundation for School Success to scale: Help design the workflows, tools, and operating cadence that allow the team to support more schools without sacrificing quality. Your work will balance near-term execution with building systems that allow future growth.

Qualifications

Must have

  • 3–5 years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Business Development or a similar client-facing role
  • Demonstrated ability to own ambiguous workstreams end-to-end and translate goals into execution through data, experimentation, clear communication, and iteration
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using metrics to diagnose performance, identify risks and opportunities, and inform decisions
  • Based in New York and able to work from our SoHo office at least 3 days a week

Nice to have

  • Experience working with schools, in healthcare, or other operationally complex organizations
  • Experience designing success motions, building playbooks, and owning retention and/or expansion revenue
  • Experience with CRMs or account management tooling to track health, renewals, and expansion opportunities

Ideal traits

  • 🫂 Empathetic and customer-obsessed: You understand counselors’ day-to-day realities and use that insight to design effective touchpoints and navigate tough conversations with clarity and grace
  • 🏃🏻 Scrappy executor: You do whatever it takes to keep schools active — from running impromptu workshops to persistently following up when things stall
  • Comfortable with ambiguity: You can make sense of messy data and unclear situations to get to root causes and move things forward
  • 🛖 Structured, analytical thinker: You design experiments from ground-level insights, measure impact, and turn messy processes into scalable workflows and programs
  • 🙊 Clear, influential communicator: You communicate effectively with busy school partners to get buy-in and influence without authority, while collaborating cross-functionally to drive results
