Demand Planning Analyst

Job Description:

Overview:

The Supply Chain Demand Planning Analyst will play a critical role in forecasting demand, analyzing supply chain performance, and supporting the implementation of new systems and technologies. This individual will be responsible for turning data into actionable insights, helping the business make smarter decisions, and ensuring product availability across our network.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare reports and dashboards to communicate insights and performance metrics.
• Support the implementation and optimization of new supply chain systems and technologies.
• Develop, maintain, and improve demand forecasts using statistical models and business intelligence tools.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement in supply chain performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance) to align demand planning with business objectives.
• Monitor inventory levels, service metrics, and forecast accuracy to drive continuous improvement.
• Provide clear, data-driven recommendations to leadership for solving supply chain challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain analytics, or a related role.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with ERP systems and/or demand planning software; exposure to system implementation projects is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to dig into data to uncover explanations and solutions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and hardworking with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
