Our client, a global mission-driven Jewish nonprofit, is seeking a visionary Creative Director to lead the storytelling and design efforts behind a worldwide movement for advocacy, education, and social impact. This is an extraordinary opportunity to shape brand experiences that move hearts, inspire action, and strengthen community through creative excellence and purpose-driven storytelling. As Creative Director, you’ll lead a multidisciplinary team of designers, writers, and editors in developing emotionally resonant campaigns and content that drive awareness, engagement, and giving. You’ll bring a balance of creative vision, strategic insight, and hands-on leadership to ensure all brand expressions reflect the organization’s mission and values. This is a full-time, fully remote position.
- Salary: $130-135k
Responsibilities:
- Lead the concepting and execution of integrated creative campaigns across digital, social, print, and experiential platforms
- Partner with internal stakeholders and leadership to translate organizational goals into inspiring visual narratives and storytelling strategies
- Oversee the development of brand systems, design standards, and messaging frameworks that scale globally and remain consistent across regions and channels
- Guide and mentor a collaborative creative team, providing constructive feedback and cultivating an environment of innovation and high performance
- Lead ideation workshops and creative sprints to generate fresh ideas and align teams around unified campaign goals
- Direct the production of video, social, and experiential content that communicates complex global issues with clarity and emotion
- Serve as brand steward, ensuring all creative work reflects the organization’s voice, values, and cultural relevance
- Collaborate with insights and digital teams to integrate audience research, analytics, and testing into the creative process
- Elevate storytelling across events, donor communications, and global initiatives to build connection and inspire participation
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of creative leadership experience in an agency, nonprofit, or mission-driven organization
- Proven success leading multidisciplinary teams across design, copy, and video production
- Strong conceptual thinker with a strategic approach to brand storytelling, campaign design, and audience engagement
- Deep understanding of branding, fundraising, and digital content strategy
- A portfolio showcasing integrated campaigns, brand transformations, and emotionally compelling creative that drives measurable impact
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire creative teams and influence executive leadership
- Adept at guiding work from concept to execution, balancing creative innovation with organizational goals and practical constraints
- Deep alignment with Jewish values and a passion for building community, advancing equity, and driving social change
