Urban Studio is seeking a highly organized, proactive
Business Development Coordinator
to work directly with the studio’s founders and help streamline communication, scheduling, and cross-department collaboration. This role combines elements of
marketing coordination, operational support, and client communication
, making it pivotal to the studio’s daily rhythm and long-term initiatives.
The
Business Development Coordinator
will play a key role in driving growth by supporting targeted outreach, marketing initiatives, and client-facing communication. This role ensures clear alignment across Sales, Marketing, and Operations, keeping momentum behind new business efforts and helping leadership move opportunities through the pipeline. Strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and a high degree of professionalism are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise between sales, marketing, and production teams to ensure seamless communication and task execution.
- Track key marketing metrics (open/click rates, engagement analytics) and provide monthly reports.
- Manage calendars, meetings, and communications for studio owners.
- Attend meetings, take detailed notes, and distribute agendas and follow-ups to all relevant parties.
- Draft and manage client emails, announcements, and micro-targeted outreach (e.g. Mailchimp campaigns) in collaboration with Creative Studio Director and Executive Producer.
- Draft polished, thoughtful emails on behalf of leadership, including targeted outreach related to new work, studio announcements, and relationship maintenance.
- Maintain and update Airtable bases related to client relationship management and business development outreach.
- Ad hoc tasks/projects as necessary.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years experience supporting executives or creative teams, ideally in post-production, advertising, or design.
- Strong organization and writing skills; able to distill complex conversations into clear follow-ups.
- Highly proactive, dependable, and capable of maintaining confidentiality.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Workspace, Mailchimp, Airtable, and project management systems preferred.
- Interest in creative production, marketing, or communications preferred.
Compensation
- Salary range of $58,000-$70,000 commensurate with experience.
