Description

I. Position Overview

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is one of the company's core senior executives, responsible for the overall day-to-day operations management, business process optimization, organizational execution, cross-departmental collaboration, and strategy implementation of the financial institution. This position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), ensuring the efficient execution of company strategy at the operational level while striking a balance between compliance, risk, cost, and efficiency.

II. Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Execution and Operational Management

Responsible for translating the company's strategy, formulated by the Board of Directors and CEO, into executable operational plans.

Establish and continuously optimize the company's overall operational management system and business processes.

Supervise the daily operations of various business lines (such as investment, trading, risk control, customer service, settlement, IT support, etc.).

Ensure that operational goals are aligned with the company's long-term development strategy.

2. Overall Coordination of Financial Business Operations

Manage the operational processes of financial products and services (such as asset management, trade execution, clearing and settlement, customer service).

Improve operational efficiency and reduce operational risks and costs.

Coordinate collaboration between the front office (business), middle office (risk control/compliance), and back office (operations/finance/IT).

Ensure the stability, continuity, and scalability of key business processes.

3. Risk Management and Compliance Support

Work closely with compliance, legal, and risk control departments to ensure operations comply with regulatory requirements.

Supervise the internal control system, process audits, and risk assessments related to operations.

Participate in responding to regulatory inspections, internal audits, and external audits.

Promote the establishment of operational-level risk warning and emergency response mechanisms.

4. Organizational Management and Performance Improvement

Lead and manage operations-related teams (operations, customer service, settlement, administration, etc.)

Establish a clear organizational structure, job responsibilities, and reporting mechanisms

Develop and implement operational performance indicators (KPIs/OKRs)

Promote talent development, team stability, and the building of a culture of execution

5. Data and Process Optimization

Utilize data analytics to drive process optimization and decision support

Establish an operational data monitoring system (efficiency, cost, risk, customer experience)

Promote automated, systematic, and digital operations (including fintech applications)

6. Cross-departmental and External Coordination

As a core management member, participate in major company business decisions.

Coordinate operational cooperation with external partners (banks, payment institutions, custodians, technology providers).

Represent the company in important business negotiations and cooperation advancement when necessary.

III. Qualifications

Education Background

Bachelor's degree or above, with preference given to candidates majoring in finance, economics, management, business administration (MBA), or related fields.

Work Experience

Over 20 years of experience in the financial industry.

Over 10 years of senior management or core operations management experience.

Preference will be given to candidates with backgrounds in banking, securities, funds, asset management, fintech, or crypto-finance.
