Illustrator – Contract

This role involves creating engaging cartoon-style artwork for Instagram, helping to establish a unique and consistent visual identity for a brand focused on exporting UK indie beer to France. The illustrator will play a key part in visually communicating the quality and reach of UK craft beer, as well as dispelling common misconceptions about the product. The project is remote and initially for a single assignment, with the possibility of future collaborations based on performance and fit.

Deliverables

• Develop a cohesive cartoon-style visual theme for Instagram posts
• Create original illustrations that highlight the journey and quality of UK indie beer
• Design artwork that addresses and debunks myths about UK craft beer
• Collaborate with the team to ensure artwork aligns with brand messaging and campaign goals
• Deliver final digital assets in formats suitable for Instagram

Requirements

• Proven experience in cartoon-style illustration, preferably for social media
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and consistency in visual style
• Ability to interpret brand values and translate them into engaging visuals
• Proficiency with digital illustration tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Procreate)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
• Availability for remote work and to meet agreed deadlines
• Understanding of Instagram content formats and best practices
