About The Role We are seeking a dedicated Recruiter to join our Operations teams, including Customer Experience, Trust & Safety, and Fraud. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead high-volume hiring efforts for critical roles, partnering closely with hiring managers and business leaders to influence hiring strategies and align recruitment priorities with organizational goals. Your responsibilities will include sourcing top talent through innovative channels, managing the full recruitment cycle from sourcing to closing, and building scalable, repeatable processes that support our rapid growth. You will also play a key role in developing compelling job descriptions, refining screening rubrics, and providing feedback to improve the candidate experience. As a mentor within the recruitment team, you will share best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Your efforts will contribute to building a diverse, inclusive workforce that drives the company's success and supports its mission to connect communities through innovative commerce experiences.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of full-cycle high-volume recruiting experience, preferably within Operations teams such as Customer Experience, Trust & Safety, or Fraud
  • Proven ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously in fast-paced environments
  • Strong sourcing skills with a passion for building relationships with passive candidates
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to measure pipeline health and set realistic hiring expectations
  • Ownership mentality, comfortable managing multiple priorities and working in a rapidly evolving startup environment
  • Exceptional candidate experience skills, with a focus on providing a human and respectful hiring process
  • Experience in developing and refining job descriptions, screening rubrics, and interview guides
  • Commitment to diversity and inclusion, employing creative and traditional methods to attract diverse talent
  • Ability to mentor peers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the recruiting team
  • Location within commuting distance of one of our hubs in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, or Seattle is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead high-volume recruiting efforts for critical operational roles, ensuring timely and quality hires
  • Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to develop effective sourcing strategies and hiring plans
  • Source, screen, interview, and manage candidates through the entire recruitment process
  • Experiment with and implement innovative sourcing channels beyond traditional platforms like LinkedIn
  • Develop compelling job postings and refine interview rubrics in collaboration with hiring managers
  • Gather and analyze candidate feedback to continuously improve the recruitment experience
  • Mentor and share best practices with peers to elevate the overall recruiting function
  • Standardize and improve scalable recruiting workflows to support company growth
  • Promote diversity and inclusive hiring practices across all stages of recruitment
  • Maintain accurate and timely recruitment data, ensuring transparency and accountability
