Job Summary
The Human Resources Assistant supports the HR department in delivering efficient and effective human resources services. This role assists with day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, employee records, onboarding, payroll coordination, and employee support, while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with applicable policies and laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with recruitment and hiring processes, including posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and preparing offer documentation
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing employee files, coordinating orientation, and collecting required documentation
- Maintain and update employee records in HR systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist with payroll preparation by tracking attendance, leave, and employment changes
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures
- Support performance management processes, including documentation and scheduling reviews
- Assist in administering employee benefits, leaves of absence, and workplace accommodations
- Prepare HR reports, letters, and other documentation as required
- Help ensure compliance with labor laws, internal policies, and HR best practices
- Support HR projects, audits, and initiatives as assigned
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of employment laws and HR practices
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
