We are partnering with a rapidly growing industrial manufacturer to hire a Procurement Coordinator to support large, complex capital projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving project environment and enjoys being the organizational backbone that keeps procurement activities running smoothly.
As Procurement Coordinator, you will provide hands-on administrative and coordination support across purchasing, vendor management, and documentation workflows. You will work closely with engineering, construction, project management, and site teams to ensure procurement activities stay aligned with project schedules and internal standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support day-to-day procurement activities including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, change orders, and vendor onboarding documentation
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather and organize scopes of work, technical requirements, and supporting materials for procurement packages
• Assist with RFQ and RFP administration by distributing bid packages, tracking vendor responses, and organizing submissions
• Maintain accurate procurement trackers, logs, and documentation to provide visibility into procurement status across project teams
• Support expediting efforts by tracking delivery dates, following up with suppliers, and updating schedules as needed
• Assist with contract and document flow-down requirements to ensure compliance with company and project standards
• Partner with warehouse, logistics, and site teams to support material receipt, documentation handling, and resolution of shortages or damaged materials
• Maintain supplier records, update contact information, and support ongoing vendor communication
• Prepare procurement reports, coordinate meetings, and provide general administrative support to the procurement function
What We’re Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience
• 3+ years of experience in a procurement support, purchasing coordination, or administrative role within industrial, construction, manufacturing, or engineering environments
• Prior exposure to capital projects or EPC settings strongly preferred
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP or procurement systems is a plus
