About The Role
The VP, Solution Consulting plays a crucial role in revenue growth and client satisfaction by articulating technology and product positioning to both business and technical audiences throughout the pre-sales solution selling process, working closely with the sales team. This role will also collaborate with Product & Technology leadership and teams to inform Doxim’s go-forward product & technology strategy.

Team Leadership
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and client-centricity within the Solutions Consulting & Sales teams
- Responsible for articulating the “what, why and how” of our products and solutions to the market. Collaborate with Product &Technology to establish strategy and product roadmaps aligned to the needs of the business and based on a deep understanding of what our clients need, today and in the future, in the verticals we serve.
- Effectively articulate the purpose, value and target audience (ie. Verticals) of Doxim products, as well as the goals and objectives that Doxim solutions fulfill
Pre-Sales Support
- Responsible for supporting the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and advocate for Doxim’s solutions
- Collaborate with Sales to drive discovery, understand client needs, identify opportunities, and develop compelling solutions that align with the company's products and solutions.
- Work closely with Sales in crafting and delivering effective proposals, presentations, demonstrations, and proofs of concept to clients and prospects.
- Ensure accurate and timely responses to technical and functional inquiries from clients and prospects, addressing their concerns and positioning the company's solutions as the best fit for their requirements.
- Partner with Senior Sales Leaders to meet revenue and other organizational goals
- Develop and approve the release of Solutions Proposals that will meet client’s overall business objectives, requirements and budget objectives
- Provide on-going feedback in the review, preparation, and confirmation of financial proposals and estimates
- Eliminate sales obstacles by successfully representing the technical aspects of how Doxim products solve specific business problems
- Collaborate with Sales and Finance to develop and evolve pricing structures and strategies that optimize profitability to Doxim.
- Lead pricing development and deal margin analysis.
- Create and update presentations and line-of-business-specific demo environments for the entire suite of Doxim solutions
Solution Development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop winning technology solutions for complex, enterprise sales opportunities
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to guide the development of innovative solutions that differentiate the company in the market.
- Collaborate with Product & Technology to deliver valuable client feedback, contribute to product roadmap discussions, and influence product enhancements.
- Identify and promote opportunities for cross/upsell when working with Sales by leveraging deep understanding of client needs and the company's product portfolio.
Account Support
- Partner with Account Management teams to provide ongoing support to existing clients, helping them maximize the value of their investment and identifying opportunities for expansion or upsell and support the execution of renewals with pricing that optimizes Doxim’s profitability.
- Work closely with App Development, Professional Services and Client Services staff to ensure prompt responsiveness to clients’ technical inquiries and changing requirements and provide post-sales handovers for smooth transition through to implementation
Product Vision
- Contribute to the long-term vision for the products and solutions across Doxim. Able to describe the purpose, value and target audience (ie. Verticals) of the product, as well as the goals and objectives that the solutions fulfill.
- Communicate product vision to all stakeholders, arming them with a compelling value proposition for selling opportunities.
- Partner with Product & Technology owners to influence product development, new feature sets and recommend sunsetting of legacy technology, aligned to product vision.
What You Bring
- Demonstrated expertise in the customer management communications and payments industr
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building, developing, influencing & transforming high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- In-depth knowledge of enterprise software, SaaS solutions, and the ability to quickly understand and communicate the value proposition of complex software systems.
- Strong business acumen and a strategic mindset, with the ability to identify market opportunities and develop compelling solutions that meet customer needs.
- Deep understanding of modern sales methodologies and technologies
- Client-centric approach with a strong focus on driving client success and satisfaction.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Technology, Finance and Operations.
