Job Description Savage X Fenty is currently hiring for a Video Editor How You Fit In Savage X Fenty is looking for a social-obsessed, highly creative Video Editor who can help elevate and evolve our visual storytelling across all platforms. This role requires someone who lives and breathes social video- someone who scrolls endlessly, pays attention to trends before they peak, and understands what truly performs.

You’ll craft edits for social, PDP video, and brand moments- balancing trend-driven speed with polished, high-level editorial craft. You should be excited to experiment, collaborate, pitch ideas, and help take the Savage X Fenty visual identity to its next chapter.

What You Will Do Editing & Post-Production Craft

• Edit a wide range of content across PDP, social, influencer, and brand creative etc..
• Apply strong storytelling instincts- shaping narrative, pacing, music, and emotional arc.
• Balance trend-forward, quick-turn edits with elevated, high-production-value content.
• Deliver multiple versions of edits optimized for specific platforms (IG, TikTok, YouTube, site, paid).
• Maintain high QC across formats, exports, aspect ratios, captions, and sound.
• Collaborate closely with the Photo & Video Art Director and VP of Creative on developing the overall visual language for Savage video content.

Social-First Creativity

• Create CapCut edits, platform-native assets, and trend-based executions that feel of-the-moment.
• Stay on top of social trends in video editing, transitions, sound, and pacing- and be the first to bring new ideas to the table.
• Help define and refine the Savage X Fenty voice and vibe across video formats.

Cross-Functional Partnership

• Work closely with the Creative Team, Marketing, Social, and Digital Asset Manager to maintain workflow clarity and asset organization.
• Help shape pre-production conversations by offering creative input that supports stronger edits later.
• Be a collaborative partner- open to feedback, down to iterate, loves to expierement, and committed to delivering standout work.
• Manage multiple projects at once, staying organized, efficient, and proactive.

File Management & Organization

• Keep projects, timelines, and exports clean and organized.
• Follow naming conventions for final files.
• Follow department structure and workflow for both quick-turn and long-form content.

What You Can Bring

• 2–4+ years of experience editing video in a fashion, beauty, lifestyle, entertainment, agency, or brand environment.
• Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro; strong familiarity with CapCut.
• Experience with After Effects and Photoshop is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of social video formats, pacing, and trends (IG, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).
• A strong storytelling sensibility- knowing how to turn raw footage into something engaging, emotional, and on-brand.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple timelines at once.
• Passion for fashion, glam, culture, music, humor, and visual experimentation.
• Proactive, curious, collaborative, and eager to grow with the brand.
• Comfortable taking direction, but also confident pitching ideas and bringing your own POV.
• Obsessed with being online- in the best way.

The annual salary for this position is from $68,400-$75,000. The range provided includes the base salary that Savage X Fenty expects to pay for the role. Offered base salary will be dependent on factors including the scope and complexity of the role, candidate’s related work experience, subject matter expertise and work location.
