Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Chief Communications Officer. The Chief Communications Officer will manage communication strategies, oversee press and media relations, and develop corporate communications plans. This role involves fostering relationships with key stakeholders, leading strategic communication efforts, and ensuring consistent messaging across all channels. The individual will also work closely with internal teams to enhance the organization's brand and reputation, both internally and externally.

Qualifications

• Experience in Press Relations and Media Relations to build and maintain strong relationships with journalists and media outlets
• Skilled in Strategic Communications to develop and implement effective communication plans
• Strong background in Corporate Communications to oversee the development and dissemination of corporate messaging
• Exceptional Communication skills to articulate ideas clearly and effectively in various formats and audience contexts
• Leadership and team management experience, with the ability to inspire and guide communications teams
• Proficiency in crisis communication and reputation management is highly valued
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or relevant field; advanced degree is an advantage
• Deep understanding of current media trends and platforms
