About The Role The Human Resources Coordinator at HEALTHSOURCE OF OHIO plays a vital role in supporting the HR department by delivering exceptional administrative, technical, and leadership assistance. This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions, including onboarding, employee relations, record keeping, and compliance. The HR Coordinator acts as a primary point of contact for employees and management, providing outstanding customer service and maintaining confidentiality at all times. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and committed to fostering a positive workplace culture aligned with the organization’s mission and values.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree preferred; High School Diploma required
  • Minimum of 2 years of HR generalist or administrative experience, preferably in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems such as ADP
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information
  • Ability to create and deliver engaging presentations and training sessions

Responsibilities

  • Manage and facilitate new employee orientation sessions, ensuring a positive onboarding experience
  • Oversee the pre-onboarding process in collaboration with the Recruitment Team to ensure a seamless transition for new hires
  • Conduct and analyze exit interviews, providing monthly reports to the leadership team for continuous improvement
  • Maintain and update detailed job descriptions and staff evaluations to support performance management
  • Prioritize daily workflow to meet organizational deadlines and objectives
  • Maintain HR files and records on a confidential basis, adhering to company policies and legal standards
  • Assist in assembling and managing HR data for special projects while ensuring confidentiality
  • Process new employee setups and terminations within the HRIS (ADP) system accurately and efficiently
  • Lead and coordinate learning and development initiatives, including orientation programs and organization-wide training activities
  • Prepare new hire badges and replacements, ensuring security and identification standards are met
  • Collaborate with the Payroll Team to oversee HRIS data accuracy and compliance
  • Ensure all I-9 forms and related documentation meet federal and state compliance standards
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate company events that promote a positive organizational culture
  • Lead partnerships with colleges and vocational schools for student initiatives and internship programs
  • Create and deliver engaging presentations for training sessions, meetings, and organizational updates
  • Support other HR activities and perform additional duties as needed, maintaining flexibility and teamwork
