We are working with a highly prestigious hedge fund to hire a Helpdesk Analyst into their IT Operations and End User Support team. This is an opportunity to work in a professional, high-performance environment where technology is business critical and users expect a high standard of support.
The role is heavily end user focused, supporting a demanding but collaborative user base across both front office and corporate functions. You will act as a key point of contact for day to day IT issues and play an important role in keeping the firm operating smoothly.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing first and second line end user support across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Supporting Microsoft based environments including Windows, Office 365, and Azure AD
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, and access related issues
- Supporting meeting rooms and AV setups including Teams, Zoom, and conferencing equipment
- Assisting with user onboarding and offboarding and account administration
- Helping diagnose basic network and connectivity issues
- Supporting hardware builds, deployments, and replacements
- Working closely with internal IT teams on issue resolution and projects
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in an end user focused helpdesk, service desk, or IT support role
- Strong customer service mindset with confidence supporting senior users
- Solid troubleshooting skills across desktop and user facing technologies
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft technologies
- Comfortable supporting AV and meeting room technology
- Clear communicator with a proactive approach
