Digital Video Editing Teacher (Part Time, In-person))
Concorde Education is hiring a part-time Digital Video Editing Teacher to deliver in-person instruction in digital video editing and related digital arts skills. The role focuses on planning and facilitating collaborative learning sessions while supporting students with varying backgrounds and experience levels.
Responsibilities
Meet regularly with the Director of Educational Development.
Plan and facilitate collaborative, interactive digital video editing learning sessions.
Assist students in developing a variety of digital video editing skills.
Maintain consistent communication with the Director of Educational Development.
Model appropriate academic and social behaviors.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree.
Teaching and/or tutoring experience.
Extensive digital arts experience and ability to demonstrate skills in digital arts and video editing.
Ability to develop unit and lesson plans aligned to content curriculum standards.
Ability to collect and analyze data to inform future instruction.
Ability to work with students of diverse ethnic backgrounds, academic profiles, and skill levels.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; responsibility, discretion, flexibility, and a desire to help others.
Ability to work independently using critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to instruct students across multiple programs based on interest and ability.
