We’re looking for an Agile Project Manager experienced in Fintech to join our
largest client’s team — a wealth management platform for investment advisors.

It’s a hybrid role that combines the responsibilities of a Scrum Master with
a forward-looking scope into broader project management. The Agile Project
Manager is responsible for facilitating Agile practices, removing impediments,
aligning stakeholders, and ensuring successful and timely delivery of project
objectives. While currently focused on Scrum-based delivery, the role
is expected to gradually take ownership of project planning, risk management,
and coordination across multiple teams or workstreams. This position requires
strong Agile facilitation skills, stakeholder management, and a mindset geared
toward both team empowerment and project delivery accountability.

Role Responsibilities 👨‍💻

Agile Process Facilitation

* Lead all Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint
Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
* Facilitate effective and time-bound meetings, ensuring the team remains
focused and productive.
* Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide status
updates, discuss technical solutions, and address concerns.
* Ensure that Sprint goals are clearly defined and aligned with the Product
Owner’s vision.

Team Support and Collaboration

* Act as a servant leader to the development team, providing guidance and
support in Agile practices.
* Encourage collaboration between cross-functional teams, such as developers,
designers, and Product Owners.
* Encourage shared ownership of delivery outcomes.

Impediment and Risk Management

* Identify and remove any impediments or obstacles that hinder team progress,
escalating issues when necessary.
* Begin capturing and escalating project-level risks, including external
dependencies and delivery threats.

Continuous Improvement and Coaching

* Coach team members on Agile practices and principles to foster a mindset
of continuous improvement.
* Encourage the team to inspect and adapt, leveraging Retrospective meetings
to implement actionable improvements.

Stakeholder Communication and Reporting

* Act as a bridge between the team and stakeholders, ensuring transparency
around the project’s progress.
* Provide regular updates on sprint progress, backlog status, and key project
metrics.
* Work with the Product Owner to ensure the backlog is well-defined, refined,
and prioritized based on business goals.

Metrics Management

* Track and analyze team metrics, such as velocity and burndown charts,
to monitor team progress and identify areas for improvement.
* Begin supporting high-level delivery reporting (milestone progress, risk
summaries) for project oversight.

Project Delivery Oversight (Growth Area)

* Collaborate with leads and stakeholders to align delivery timelines with
broader project plans.
* Start contributing to the planning of dependencies, capacity forecasting, and
potential release schedules.
* Support resource alignment with delivery goals.

Skill set and experience we believe you should have for that role 🤓

* B2+ English level and strong communication skills: Ability to communicate
effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* 2+ years of experience working as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Project
Manager, Project Coordinator or similar role in an Agile environment.
* Project Manager or Scrum Master experience in fintech industry and strong
interest in this domain
* Experience with Agile Frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean.
* Familiarity with Agile tools, such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
* Basic understanding of software development processes and practices.
* Proficiency in using team collaboration tools (e.g., Confluence, Slack).
* Skilled in identifying issues and implementing solutions that foster
productivity and collaboration.
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams, facilitate discussions, and promote
a positive team culture.
* Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and capable of managing multiple
tasks and stakeholders.
* Ability to navigate conflicts within the team and mediate effectively.
* A “servant leader” approach, prioritizing the needs of the team.
* Willing to take on responsibility for end-to-end project success.
