We are looking for a General QA Engineer who will be able to conduct manual
& automation activities to join our team working on a secure mobile banking
application. This role requires a strong understanding of mobile automation
principles, ecosystems, backend/API validation, third-party integrations and
advanced testing scenarios beyond standard functional QA.
Responsibilities
* Perform full cycle of automation testing of mobile banking application.
* Test and validate API integrations (REST/GraphQL), including request/response
validation and error handling.
* Conduct security-related checks, including encryption validation and secure
data storage verification.
* Test authentication and SSO flows with third-party providers (e.g., Okta,
Google, Microsoft).
* Design and execute exploratory and regression test cases for critical banking
features.
* Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and security teams
to identify risks and edge cases.
* Document defects clearly in test management systems.
Requirements
* 2+ years of manual and automation QA experience, preferably in finance,
fintech, or high-security applications.
* Strong understanding of API testing (Postman, curl, or similar tools).
* Familiarity with automation tools (Playwright/Appium) for extending manual
checks.
* Familiarity with security concepts: encryption at rest/in transit, key
management basics.
* Knowledge of authentication flows (OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect) and
third-party identity providers (Okta, etc.).
* Solid understanding of QA methodologies, defect lifecycles, and regression
cycles.
* Intermediate+ English for reading technical documentation and communication
with stakeholders.
