WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU!

We are seeking an exceptional bid strategist with a proven track record
of securing multi-million dollar service contracts. In this pivotal role, you
will establish and own the complete end-to-end RFP bidding process,
collaborating closely with key stakeholders both within Star and at client
organisations.

Leveraging your deep sales expertise, you will ensure the right resources are
mobilised to prepare, develop, and negotiate compelling bids that not only meet
but consistently exceed client expectations. You will work across the
organisation, partnering with commercial teams, delivery specialists, legal
experts, and executive leadership.

The ideal candidate brings substantial experience in services sales and
demonstrates mastery of the entire bid management lifecycle—from opportunity
qualification and competitive pricing through contractual negotiations. You are
an outstanding communicator who builds rapport effortlessly at the C-suite/VP
level, both internally and with clients.

We need someone with strong commercial acumen, P&L experience, and advanced risk
management capabilities. Concepts like competitive positioning, client
relationship strategy, and financial modelling should be second nature to you.

This high-visibility role demands exceptional networking abilities, calm under
pressure, and the capacity to deliver excellence against challenging deadlines.


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU CAN BRING TO THIS ROLE!

Qualifications & experience:

* Proven track record in bid management, with demonstrable success in securing
high-value contracts;
* Experience designing and implementing innovative bid processes, governance
frameworks and supporting tools;
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability
to craft persuasive proposals and presentations;
* Strong analytical capabilities with a talent for solving complex commercial
and strategic problems;
* Results-oriented approach with meticulous attention to detail and
an unwavering commitment to excellence;
* Fluent business English essential.

Nice to have:

* Fluency in German (Level C2) highly advantageous;
* Proficiency in financial modelling and commercial forecasting;
* Familiarity with one or more of Star’s key industry sectors;
* Experience working in international or cross-cultural business environments.


WHAT IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

* Design and implement a robust bidding framework complete with governance
structures, templates and best practices, whilst continuously refining
processes and tools for optimal efficiency;
* Lead complex, multi-workstream RFPs from inception to submission, including
analysing client requirements and guiding the bid team throughout the entire
lifecycle;
* Collaborate with stakeholders to craft compelling win strategies, ensuring
distinctive themes and value propositions resonate throughout each proposal;
* Recommend strategic adjustments to the sales approach based on opportunity
characteristics, market conditions and competitive landscape;
* Elevate proposal quality through hands-on contribution to content development
and presentation, including executive summaries, commercial models and
profitability assessments;
* Drive adherence to critical timelines across all bid stages, balancing
internal governance requirements with pragmatic deadline management;
* Deliver consistently compliant, commercially astute bids that meet all
submission requirements and deadlines;
* Orchestrate and refine client-facing presentations, ensuring alignment with
proposal messaging and strategic objectives;
* Establish a comprehensive knowledge repository of successful bids, capturing
innovative approaches, winning strategies and proven methodologies;
* Create and maintain a versatile bid toolkit encompassing policies, templates,
narrative examples, pricing models and other essential resources.


SUCCESS METRICS:

Your performance will be measured through key indicators including proposal win
rate, revenue secured, bid profitability, volume of quality submissions and
consistent achievement of internal service level agreements.
