Project Overview:
We are seeking a QA Engineer to support both legacy and modern enterprise
applications for a German provider of insurance claims settlement. This role
combines manual and automated testing, with a focus on ensuring high-quality
software delivery in complex environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Execute manual and automated tests across legacy and modern systems
* Build and maintain automated test suites using Playwright/TypeScript
* Document test cases and manage testing artifacts in the test case management
system
* Integrate and optimize automated testing workflows within CI/CD pipelines
* Validate REST APIs and test event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka)
* Leverage AI tools and Agentic Coding to generate, optimize, and maintain test
cases
* Use AI to enhance defect detection, regression testing, and coverage
* Collaborate with developers and product teams to report defects and ensure
release readiness
* Track QA metrics and contribute to process improvements
REQUIRED SKILLS:
* 4+ years overall experience in QA
* Proven experience in manual testing of enterprise applications
* Strong skills in Playwright/TypeScript for test automation
* Hands-on experience with Postman/Newman and JavaScript
* Experience testing REST APIs and event-driven systems
* Familiarity with Docker
* Practical knowledge of AI-assisted testing (e.g., Agentic Coding)
* Experience working in mixed environments, including modernization projects
