Events Coordinator (Contract)

Summary:
This position serves as a vital operational partner in delivering an exceptional intern program experience for one of the world's leading technology companies. Working at the intersection of event coordination, program operations, and stakeholder engagement, this role ensures seamless execution of large-scale intern programming across the Americas region while contributing to select global initiatives. The successful candidate will collaborate with program managers to create meaningful experiences that shape the future workforce, managing everything from high-impact welcome events to ongoing engagement activities throughout the summer program cycle. This dynamic position requires both strategic planning capabilities and hands-on execution skills, balancing administrative excellence with the energy and creativity needed to engage hundreds of interns during their transformative summer experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive planning and execution of summer 2026 intern program operations and logistics
- Execute and maintain an operationally sound model that supports a best-in-class intern experience
- Manage processes primarily impacting Americas interns while supporting global deliverables as needed
- Partner with the Americas Intern Engagement team to plan and execute intern engagements across the region
- Support major program events including Welcome Week, mentorship events, and skilling sessions
- Coordinate event logistics including room preparation, vendor arrivals, and on-site execution
- Support marketing and logistics of programmatic efforts
- Manage high-volume scheduling and tracking systems for program activities
- Facilitate communication and coordination between multiple stakeholders and extended team members
- Assist program managers with projects and administrative work required to create successful events
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of recruiting experience or related program coordination experience
- 3+ years of events coordination experience
- Previous experience managing event logistics in a corporate or educational setting
- Background working with college students or young professionals preferred
- High-volume scheduling and calendar management
- Event logistics coordination and execution
- Strong operational and administrative capabilities
- Excellent communication skills across multiple parties and stakeholder groups
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Publisher, and Excel
- Experience with tracking systems and project management tools
- Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational abilities
- Adaptability to process changes and evolving program needs
- Problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities
- Self-starting attitude with ability to take initiative

Additional Details:
- Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite)
- Duration: 5 months
- Pay Range*: $21 - $23.50 per hour
- Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
- Job Status: Non-Exempt
