VP, Creative

As the Vice President, Creative, you will be the visionary force behind how the CAVA brand comes to life across every guest and team member touchpoint. You will lead the development and execution of a unified creative strategy that connects people to our brand through powerful visual storytelling, integrated campaigns, in-store experiences, and breakthrough content. This executive role is responsible for leading and inspiring a multidisciplinary in-house creative team — including design, art direction, motion, and copy — to develop innovative and consistent creative that reflects our values and drives business growth. You will partner closely with marketing, culinary, operations, digital, loyalty, communications, and executive leadership to create cohesive brand narratives and shape the future of how CAVA shows up in the world.

What You’ll Do:

  • Define the overarching creative vision and standards for the CAVA brand across all channels, touchpoints, and formats
  • Ensure consistency of brand voice, tone, and visual identity across all guest and internal communications
  • Translate brand strategy, business goals, and guest insights into bold, impactful creative ideas and executions
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing, cross-functional creative team including design, art direction, copy, motion, and production
  • Provide coaching and feedback to support career development and elevate the craft of individual contributors
  • Oversee the concepting and execution of integrated campaigns for product launches, brand storytelling, seasonal moments, and partnerships
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Digital, and Loyalty teams to create a consistent and compelling brand experience across paid, owned, and earned channels
  • Guide the creative development of in-store experiences, environmental branding, packaging, and menu storytelling in partnership with Culinary and Operations
  • Build scalable systems, templates, and guidelines to enable creative consistency and efficiency as the brand grows
  • Own the creative development process from brief through execution, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met
  • Present and communicate creative vision and campaign work to executive leadership, aligning on business and brand priorities
  • Partner cross-functionally across departments including Strategy, Operations, People, Communications, and Technology to align creative with enterprise initiatives
  • Stay on the pulse of cultural trends, design innovation, and consumer behavior to keep CAVA’s brand expression current and relevant

The Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in brand creative, with at least 5 years in senior leadership at a high-growth consumer brand or agency
  • Proven success developing and executing high-impact brand campaigns and creative strategies across digital, print, in-store, experiential, and social
  • Deep experience leading multidisciplinary creative teams and growing creative talent across levels
  • Portfolio that showcases strategic, concept-driven work with strong visual and verbal execution
  • Expertise in creative operations, production, brand governance, and vendor management
  • Collaborative leadership style and ability to influence executive stakeholders
  • Strong cultural awareness and a sharp eye for brand relevance in a fast-evolving landscape
  • Passion for storytelling, design, and food culture
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Creative Direction, Marketing, Communications, or a related field required; MFA or advanced degree preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment
  • Must be able to identify, analyze and assess details
  • For certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively
  • Constantly positions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations, as applicable
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
