Summary for Corporate Events Assistant:

Join one of the nation’s most respected law firms as a Corporate Events Assistant and be part of a collaborative, supportive Events team. You will assist with planning and executing high-profile internal and external events for attorneys, clients, recruits, and firm leadership. This role offers hands-on experience in corporate and professional services events, working in a team-oriented environment that values attention to detail and exceptional client service. The ideal candidate brings corporate or professional services internship experience and takes pride in delivering seamless, polished event experiences.

Responsibilities for Corporate Events Assistant:

  • Assist with the planning and execution of in-person firm events, including receptions, luncheons, dinners, seminars, and orientation programs
  • Support event logistics such as venue research, catering coordination, invitations, RSVPs, seating plans, name badges, and onsite staffing
  • Draft and manage event communications, ensuring all materials adhere to firm style, tone, and professional standards
  • Maintain accurate event data and reports using event management software (Cvent), spreadsheets, and internal tracking tools
  • Provide onsite event support, managing setup, guest flow, vendor coordination, and last-minute needs with professionalism and poise

Qualifications for Corporate Events Assistant:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Corporate, hospitality, or professional services internship or relevant work experience required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a polished, client-service-oriented demeanor
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Cvent or similar platforms preferred
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
