Position: Basketball Expert (Fans, Journalist, Commentator, etc.)

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $45–$70/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Watch live basketball games and evaluate AI-generated play-by-play commentary and post-game analysis.
• Assess the accuracy, depth, and entertainment value of AI-driven basketball coverage.
• Evaluate the AI’s understanding of player performance, game flow, tactics, and strategic decisions.
• Identify factual errors, weak interpretations, or stylistic inconsistencies in AI outputs.
• Provide clear, structured written feedback highlighting strengths, weaknesses, and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate asynchronously with analysts and developers to enhance AI basketball reasoning, storytelling, and realism.

Requirements

• Strong experience and deep understanding of basketball through playing, coaching, journalism, commentating, or dedicated fandom.
• Ability to analyze basketball strategies, narratives, and statistical insights with contextual accuracy.
• Strong written English communication skills to articulate detailed and nuanced feedback.
• Comfort using online tools, dashboards, and digital evaluation interfaces.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.
• Availability to join a live evaluation call when required.
