Position: Procurement Expert

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $60–$100/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Outline and explain end-to-end supply chain and logistics workflows from procurement through delivery.
• Break down common analyses, planning processes, and key decision points used in real-world procurement operations.
• Provide guidance on vendor communications, disruption scenarios, and day-to-day supply chain functions.
• Translate complex procurement and logistics workflows into clear, structured formats suitable for AI training.
• Collaborate asynchronously with project teams to contextualize supply chain challenges and solutions.

Requirements

• Strong professional background in procurement, supply chain, logistics, or related domains.
• Experience across industries such as manufacturing, CPG, retail, or automotive.
• Deep understanding of demand planning, logistics operations, procurement processes, and vendor negotiation.
• Proven ability to analyze and clearly explain complex workflows and operational processes.
• Familiarity with tooling and documentation commonly used in supply chain departments.
• Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.
