About The Role Lockheed Martin Communications is seeking an energetic, self-motivated Executive Administrative Assistant/Administrative Business Partner to support the Senior Vice President and Chief Communications Officer. This full-time remote position involves managing complex scheduling, correspondence, and travel arrangements for senior leadership. The role requires proactive project management, coordination of internal meetings and events, and assistance with external speaking engagements. The successful candidate will demonstrate critical thinking, technological proficiency, and impeccable attention to detail while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate across various departments and functions, contributing significantly to the efficiency and effectiveness of the Communications team.

Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with emerging technologies and a variety of applications and tools
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in tracking actions, preparing reports, and creating presentations
  • Proven ability to act with diplomacy and professionalism with senior stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and quality control
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Relevant experience supporting executive leadership preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex calendars and scheduling for the SVP and Chief Communications Officer, including coordinating internal and external meetings and events
  • Prepare, review, and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including transportation, accommodations, and itineraries
  • Assist with planning and execution of external speaking engagements and public appearances
  • Track and follow up on action items and project deadlines to ensure timely completion
  • Serve as a liaison between senior leadership and internal/external stakeholders
  • Handle confidential information with integrity and discretion
  • Utilize emerging technologies and tools to streamline administrative processes
  • Provide general administrative support and perform special projects as needed
  • Support team initiatives and foster a collaborative work environment
