Position: Writer / Editor – AI Trainer

Type: Contract (Remote)

Compensation: $30–$55/hr (based on experience)

Location: Remote

Duration: 10–40 hours/week, flexible and asynchronous

Requirements

  • Native-level proficiency in English with exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Strong background in writing, editing, or content review
  • Excellent command of grammar, style, tone, and clarity
  • High attention to detail when reviewing and correcting text
  • Ability to transcribe audio and video content accurately
  • Strong analytical skills to identify inconsistencies, ambiguity, or errors in language
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote, asynchronous environment
  • Ability to document feedback clearly and consistently

Preferred

  • Advanced degree in English, Linguistics, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
  • Prior experience in transcription, editorial review, or language QA
  • Experience working with AI-generated content or data annotation projects
  • Familiarity with editorial guidelines, style guides, or structured review workflows

Role Responsibilities

  • Transcribe audio and video files with high accuracy and linguistic precision
  • Edit and refine transcriptions for clarity, consistency, grammar, and style
  • Review AI-generated text outputs and identify language errors or weaknesses
  • Provide structured written feedback to improve AI language quality
  • Resolve ambiguity and ensure natural, human-like language usage
  • Maintain consistent editorial and transcription standards across tasks
  • Document processes, corrections, and best practices for quality assurance
  • Collaborate asynchronously with AI and QA teams as required
