Overview JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking an Learning Associate, Onboarding to deliver seamless and engaging onboarding experiences for Fanatics Betting & Gaming (FBG) new hires. This role will play a pivotal part in our revamped onboarding program, which includes both virtual onboarding (Launching Into Better) and our new on-site onboarding experience.

The Learning Associate, Onboarding will serve as the operational backbone of onboarding — managing logistics, communications, and event production — to ensure every new hire feels welcomed, prepared, and connected from day one. While primarily based in New York City, this role will also require regular travel to other FBG offices (approx. every other month) to support additional on-site sessions.

If you possess some of these skills but not all of them, we still encourage you to apply! What You’ll Do On-Site Onboarding

  • Coordinate travel booking and logistics for new hires (flights, hotels, ground transportation).
  • Manage event production, including conference room bookings, AV/tech setup, catering, and supplies.
  • Serve as the point of contact for new hires during their first days on site, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
  • Partner with Security, IT, and Facilities to confirm readiness of badges, laptops, and workspace setup.
  • Manage relationships with vendors for catering, event materials, and swag.
  • Travel to FBG offices (U.S., U.K., Ireland) to support recurring on-site onboarding sessions and ensure consistency across locations.

Virtual Onboarding

  • Own calendar management and scheduling of sessions across time zones.
  • Send pre-boarding and onboarding communications to new hires and their managers.
  • Manage the newhire@ email alias, addressing inquiries and troubleshooting issues.
  • Provide live training production support, including Zoom setup, breakout room facilitation, recording, and chat monitoring.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date onboarding documentation (guides, FAQs, resource libraries).

Overall Responsibilities

  • Track attendance and participation across all onboarding programs.
  • Collect and organize new hire and manager feedback for continuous program improvement.
  • Prepare and distribute training materials (agendas, slide decks, resource packets).
  • Maintain alignment with program managers (L&D, CX, FMX) to ensure consistent experience across teams.
  • Escalate issues quickly (e.g., IT access problems, travel delays, scheduling conflicts) to minimize disruption.

What You Bring

  • 2–4 years of experience in HR operations, event coordination, learning & development, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
  • Comfort working across time zones and with global teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident interfacing with new hires and senior leaders alike.
  • Proficiency with Zoom, Google Workspace, and HR/learning systems.
  • Detail-oriented with a service mindset — committed to creating a best-in-class new hire experience.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly (approx. bi-monthly) to FBG office locations.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with learning platforms (e.g., LMS, LXP)
  • Background working in or supporting high-growth tech or service organizations
