An investment firm in Manhattan seeks a temporary Executive Assistant to support a team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5-10 years of administrative experience supporting a team out of financial services. This has the potential to convert to a salaried position.
Pay $40-50/hr
Hours: 8:30-5:30
3-6 month contract with opportunity to extend/convert
Fully onsite, with the occasional flex remote day
Responsibilities:
- Heavy calendar management and scheduling
- Coordinate and book complex travel for the team, both international and domestic
- Schedule and organize client and internal meetings
- Communicate efficiently via email and phone
- Reconcile and manage expense reports and purchases (Concur experience ideal)
- Assist in projects as needed, including, but not limited to, helping with presentations, contracts and other documentation
- Manage meeting logistics and assist with events as needed
- Provide additional support as needed
Requirements:
- BA degree preferred
- 5-10 years of administrative experience supporting senior leaders, financial services experience preferred
- Proven experience working well under minimal supervision and under tight deadlines
- Excels in being able to identify, prioritize, and manage conflicting priorities and agendas
- Highly competent with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Strong decision-making skills and excellent partnership and relationship-building skills
