Illustrator – Freelance (Remote)

Join an exciting new project aimed at young audiences by designing engaging 2D characters for a children's YouTube show focused on potty training. This role centers on creating four full-color character designs for a team of Rangers, each with a unique, toddler-superhero cartoon style. Your work will play a pivotal role in shaping the show's visual identity and appeal, setting the tone for its first episodes and ongoing branding. You will collaborate closely with the creative team to ensure each character is both visually appealing and suitable for the target age group.

Deliverables

• Develop four distinct, full-color 2D character designs in a cute, toddler-superhero cartoon style.
• Provide character turnarounds and expression sheets for each Ranger.
• Deliver high-resolution files suitable for animation and promotional use.
• Incorporate feedback from the creative team to refine and finalize designs.
• Ensure all artwork aligns with the show's branding and visual storytelling goals.

Requirements

• Proven experience in 2D character design, preferably for children's media or animation.
• Strong portfolio showcasing cartoon-style character work.
• Proficiency in industry-standard illustration software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar).
