Position Overview

As the Payroll Administrator you will accurately prepare, document and reconcile company payroll using the applicable payroll system, in addition to assisting with the administration of payrolls prepared by third party administrators and providing support in general. You will have a solid understanding of payroll transactions and requirements, including earnings, taxation, and deductions. 

In-Office: Based full-time at CELSIUS® Headquarters in Boca Raton, FL

Requirements

  • Experience: At least three (3) years of previous payroll experience.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations, including multi-state payroll experience.
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of payroll administration.
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive data.
  • Proven ability to operate and administer various software applications as needed.
  • Business process improvement skills and a mind for automation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, large volume environment.
  • Excellent organization skills with attention to detail, completeness, and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (Vlookup, Formulas, Pivots).
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now is a plus.
  • Hands-on, strong work ethic, and can-do attitude
  • Ability to adapt and change when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare bi-weekly US payrolls ensuring that employees are paid accurately and on time, with proper payroll deductions and taxation, which will be measured by strict audit requirements.
  • Review and monitor timecard entries to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley control, company policies and federal and state labor laws.
  • Partner with HR to ensure new hires, terminations, pay changes, leave of absence (LOA), bonuses, etc. are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist in administering employee stock options and other share-based compensation by processing relevant documents (e.g., RSU awards, etc.)
  • Ensure that all annual tax forms for share-based compensation are prepared accurately and timely.
  • Maintain the company's good standing with federal, state and local jurisdictions, including setting up new states/ local jurisdictions as needed.
  • Support the company's auditors on a recurring quarterly basis.
  • Provide superior customer service to employees with pay-related inquiries
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

The base salary range for this position is dependent on experience and location. The final offer will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, and qualifications. This position may be eligible for other compensation, including bonuses and Restricted Stock Units (subject to company plans).
