Cardiovascular disease is the single largest contributor to premature death and disability in the world. At CVAUSA, we are dedicated to delivering the highest quality cardiovascular care and advancing scientific discovery through clinical research, including randomized trials and observational and health outcomes research. As we continue to build our clinical programs and national network of cardiovascular clinical trials, we seek strong team members who are passionate about improving cardiovascular care quality through quality management and the development of novel therapies that reduce the burden of cardiovascular disease.
Position Summary
The Research Assistant, Quality & Clinical Research will provide foundational support for Cardiovascular Associates of America’s enterprise quality improvement and clinical research programs. This role will be evenly split between quality initiatives and clinical research activities, including outcomes and health services research.
The Research Assistant will work closely with analysts, physician investigators, and quality leaders to support data collection, documentation, reporting, development of quality guidelines and quality improvement initiatives, and research operations across a national network of community cardiology practices. This position is well suited for an individual early in their healthcare, public health, or research career who is seeking hands-on experience in cardiovascular quality improvement and health outcomes research.
