Volmi — A Virtuos Studio is an outsourcing company that specializes in game
development and game content creation. Over the past 9 years, we have

For which tasks (responsibilities)?
* Design, implement, and maintain gameplay systems and logic using Blueprints
and/or C++ within Unreal Engine 5;
* Collaborate with design teams to prototype and polish features such
as traversal, combat, AI behaviors, and environmental interactions;
* Create and support tools, templates, and workflows that empower designers and
improve iteration speed across studios;
* Debug, optimize, and validate gameplay features and scripted content for
performance, stability, and quality;
* Contribute to documentation and pipelines that promote consistency and
scalability across multiple studio teams;
* Bridge communication between creative and technical disciplines to ensure
gameplay features meet both artistic vision and technical constraints.
What kind of professional are we looking for?
* 3+ years of experience as a Technical Designer or Gameplay Designer
on at least one shipped AAA console or PC title;
* Expert-level proficiency in Unreal Engine 5, especially:
— Blueprints (combat state machines, traversal logic, gameplay systems);
— GAS or deep familiarity with building scalable action systems.
* Direct experience designing or prototyping complex movement systems, ideally
involving:
— Flight mechanics, boost/thrust systems, air control;
— Seamless transition between flight, hover, and ground movement;
— Real-time navigation of large-scale environments in 3D space.
* Experience building or supporting:
— Modular ability or gear systems (customizable tech loadouts);
— Targeting and combat systems;
— HUD and contextual interaction systems.
* Ability to design, prototype, and iterate on gameplay systems quickly;
* Proven skill in performance profiling and optimization of gameplay logic
(Blueprint and/or C++);
* Strong cross-discipline communication and experience working with animation,
audio, and VFX teams to bring dynamic action systems to life;
* Advanced level of English.
Will be a plus:
* Familiarity with C++ and scripting interfaces in UE5;
* Experience with large, open-world or sandbox game structures;
* Prior work in distributed development environments;
* Background in rapid prototyping and iteration pipelines.
