People Operations Lead (Founding Member)
We are looking for a strategic yet hands-on
People Operations Lead
to serve as the architect of our internal culture and infrastructure. As our first dedicated People hire, you will partner directly with the founders to build the core systems that allow our team to do their best work.

The Impact You'll Make
- Build the Infrastructure:
Partner with founders to design and scale People Ops systems from scratch, ensuring processes grow alongside the business.
- Champion the Employee Journey:
Own every touchpoint of the employee lifecycle-from creating a "wow" onboarding experience to thoughtful offboarding and everything in between.
- Master Operations:
Manage the engines of the company, including payroll, global benefits, HRIS management, and comprehensive documentation.
- Scale Globally:
Navigate the complexities of international growth, managing visa sponsorships, work permits, and regional compliance across a distributed team.
- Drive Performance:
Implement "just enough" process-building simple, high-impact feedback and performance frameworks that drive growth without adding bureaucracy.
- Be a Trusted Advisor:
Serve as the go-to resource for employees, using high EQ to navigate sensitive topics and foster a culture of transparency and trust.
What You Bring
- The Startup Playbook:
5+ years in People Ops/HR, with a proven track record in high-growth or early-stage environments. You know what "good" looks like at scale but aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves today.
- Operational Excellence:
You have a "builder" mindset. You don't just follow processes; you create them.
- Legal & Tech Fluency:
Solid grounding in US employment law (international experience is a major plus) and proficiency with modern HRIS and payroll platforms.
- Ambiguity Tolerance:
You are comfortable in the gray areas. You can take a vague goal from the founders and turn it into a concrete roadmap.
- High EQ & Low Ego:
You are an exceptional communicator who listens deeply and acts with empathy and discretion.
