Ciklum is looking for a Senior JavaScript Engineer to join our team full-time
in Ukraine.
We are a custom product engineering company that supports both multinational
organizations and scaling startups to solve their most complex business

ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Senior JavaScript Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development
team working for a world-leading professional services organization that
specializes in audit, tax, consulting, and advisory services. Your work will
involve developing innovative software products for clients in the consumer
sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Efficiently and effectively translate Figma designs into functional,
production-ready features
* Design, develop and thoroughly test responsive web applications using
React.js and TypeScript
* Implement and maintain robust, scalable, and secure frontend code
* Integrate frontend components with server-side logic via secure APIs
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new
features
* Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
* Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related
field
* 5+ years of professional experience in web development
* Expert-level proficiency in React.js and TypeScript and their core principles
* Strong experience with Material UI (MUI) and building and customizing
components
* Proficiency with testing frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library
* Experience translating Figma designs into code
* Strong experience with tools like Ladle and Storybook for documenting and
showcasing reusable components
* Proficiency with reusable component architecture: utilizing compound
components and building flexible, reusable UI systems
* Proven experience in integrating with RESTful APIs
* Experience with advanced automation, including tools like Copilot and
Builder.io [http://Builder.io]
* Solid understanding of front-end build tools and modern JavaScript frameworks
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Desirable:
* Strong experience with full stack development, including Node.js, Express,
Python, FastAPI, or other similar languages and frameworks
* Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration tools (e.g.,
Kubernetes)
* Experience publishing builds and artifacts to artifact repositories like
JFrog
* Exposure to tools like Doppler for secrets and environment management
* Familiarity with database technologies (SQL)
* Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure
* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
