We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst to manage data insights and
analytics workflows in one of Ruby Labs’ fastest-growing legal-tech portfolio
companies. This is a hands-on operational role where you will own data analysis,
reporting, and metrics tracking, ensuring data-driven decision making through
disciplined processes and AI-enhanced productivity.
Core Mission Maintain complete control over data analysis and reporting
operations — from data modeling to insight delivery — with systematic
discipline, clear communication, and AI-driven efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Analytics Backlog Management — Maintain a prioritized backlog of analysis
requests, reports, and data improvements with detailed specifications
* Report Documentation — Create comprehensive analysis documentation, insights
summaries, and actionable recommendations
* Management Sync — Regular alignment meetings with Product Owners and
leadership to ensure data direction and priority alignment
* Cross-Team Coordination — Coordinate with Product, Dev, and Data teams
to ensure clear understanding of analytics requirements
* Dashboard & Report Specification — Define and document reporting
requirements, KPI definitions, and data visualization needs
* Data Quality Standards — Ensure data consistency and adherence to data
modeling best practices
* Metrics Tracking — Monitor key metrics and delivery timelines for analytics
requests, escalating data issues promptly
* Stakeholder Communication — Provide regular updates to management
on analytics insights and data health
* Quality Assurance — Review data models and reports against specifications and
business requirements
* User Behavior Analysis — Analyze customer feedback and user behavior data
to inform product decisions
* Competitive Research — Research competitor metrics and market trends
to support data-driven product decisions
* AI Tools for Efficiency — Utilize AI tools like ChatGPT for analysis
interpretation, documentation, and process optimization
* Daily Data Monitoring — Lead daily monitoring of key metrics and data
pipeline health
* Mixpanel Execution — Use Mixpanel daily for event tracking, funnels, user
behavior analysis, and cohort analysis
* Advanced SQL Operations — Design and build robust data models, maintain data
pipelines, and ensure data accuracy
* Release Tracking — Monitor and analyze every product release performance,
measuring adoption rates and user engagement post-launch
* Events Database Management — Constantly update and maintain events database,
ensuring all user interactions are properly tracked
* Release Coverage — Cover all new releases with comprehensive events tracking
and detailed reports in Mixpanel
* Bottleneck Identification — Find and analyze bottlenecks in every release and
identify product drop-off points across user funnels
* Post-Release Analysis — Conduct immediate post-release performance analysis
to catch issues and optimization opportunities early
Requirements
* 3+ years in data analyst roles with hands-on analytics and reporting
experience
* Strong experience in creating detailed analysis documentation and actionable
insights
* Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams (Product, Dev,
Engineering)
* Advanced AI tool usage for data analysis and productivity
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot data inconsistencies and
anomalies
* Advanced SQL knowledge and experience with data modeling
* 2+ years hands-on Mixpanel experience for product analytics
* Proven experience in release tracking and post-launch performance analysis
* Experience in events database management and maintenance
* Strong funnel analysis skills with ability to identify user drop-off points
* Strong communication skills for effective team and management coordination
* Organized, systematic approach to analytics project management
* Results-oriented mindset with focus on data accuracy and insight quality
* English fluency
* Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Looker) and subscription business
analytics
* Degree in analytical field (Math, Data Science, Economics)
* Experience in at least one of the following domains:
* iGaming / Gaming / Social Casino (with strong product analytics
background), or
* Mobile / Web applications with subscription-based monetization (also with
strong product analytics experience)
