Avenga is looking for a skilled Senior Business Analyst/Product Owner to join
our team full-time. Our client is a leading multi-national lottery operator with
a market-leading presence in Austria, the Czech Republic, Greece, Cyprus, and
Italy. They build better lotteries that return more to good causes by focusing
on innovation, technology,efficiency, and safety across a growing casual gaming
entertainment portfolio. The client’s purpose is to make play better for all and
their mission is to be a trusted and proactive guardian of all that is good
in lotteries and casual gaming entertainment.
As a Senior Business analyst/ Product owner will drive strategic business
initiatives by analyzing complex business processes, eliciting requirements, and
translating them into actionable solutions. You will work closely with
cross-functional teams to facilitate change, optimize processes, and ensure our
business solutions meet both operational and strategic goals.
What do you bring along:
* 5+ years of experience on BA/Product related positions
* 2 years of working on software development projects in an agile requirements
analysis role
* Competent in Jira / Confluence
* Proficient user of BPM
* Experience in the Betting Industry
* Experience in working on multiple and varied large-scale projects, delivering
a variety of software applications
* Talented at interacting with multiple stakeholders including C level;
* Experience in working on multiple and varied large-scale projects, delivering
a variety of software applications
* Solid knowledge in software architectures and processes related to software
delivery
* Successful practical experience in establishing and complying to the change
management process;
* Proven ability to work within teams using a variety of software development
methods, including product development using agile software delivery methods
* Confident in designing solutions/ business processes/ operating models
* English — Upper — Intermediate
This is your mission:
* Work closely with key roles such as Tech Leads and Delivery Managers
to ensure requirementsclarity and technical excellence
* Develop scope documents and define Epics/User Stories that guide our CLS
Software Development teams
* Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes
to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with
product strategy
* Define priorities for short-term delivery within sprints and also for
longer-term delivery along with Product Managers and stakeholders
* Develop appropriately detailed specifications for product features so that
they are clearly understood by the development team
* Develop and maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories for
implementation
* Ensure effective coordination, establish feedback loops and enable overall
orchestration amongvarious teams, stakeholders, and customers
* Run refinement sessions with the development teams in order to articulate
delivery goals, provide details and refine stories. Additionally, capture
user story estimations from the team during such sessions
* Run iteration reviews or demo sessions with the help of QA engineers in order
to present the iteration deliverables to stakeholders and receive feedback
